What Is This Thing You Call Sin-

Is it something you eat Is it on your feet is it in your early morning sun Is it it in your teeth Is there when you run You brush your hair is it watching you Watching you in the bathroom And when a lady climbs upstairs What is this thing you call saying Is it you drinking in your car Wishing you could see me crawl When I'm ready on my knees And you say hello Do you need it do you mean it mean to help me down Down here when you call me Your brother And you're really mean character What is this thing called sin 9/9/70 Written word by James Edward Lee 1970, 2019
