What Is It

Before I sleep, I want to know
You came to terms with all of today
I want to know you have peace, shalom
That all things work your mainstay
Faith in Jesus, then in me, intact
What is it, I want also to know
You awoke rested, eager to thank 
The Universe for a new day, blink
At the dawn-tinged horizon, watch a bird
Or more, quick look at your plants, flowers
Then at least a bit of breakfast before work
I want to be the one to make your cuppa
Even add a delicacy or two for dessert
What is it? What hold do you have on me
This heart, this MOG who vowed one spouse
And now wonders endlessly, if only ....

Yes Anil, Jesus suffered for us all so we must respect and honor that in our choices and actions. However, the mind is a beautiful tool that sees beauty. And yes, I see beauty within your entry. Shalom... (smile always)
