What If
What if I was a joint;
What if I was rum and lime;
What if I was made of nicotine,
maybe you would want me;
What if I was a butterfly;
What if I was a drum kit;
What if I was always lit,
maybe you would want me;
What if there were no more tears,
what if I had nothing left to give;
What if I finally changed my mind:
What if this was the last time,
maybe you would want me;
What if those who loved
were loved;
Just once;
I’m so tired of my mind,
and all of these what if’s.
