What If

What if we were all healers, How would we be able to change the world? Pretend we could see and read auras, Would we manipulate cancer into submission? What if we could feel each other’s goodness, Without feeling their pain. Would this be doable? What if we spent our days listening to each other’s feelings Wouldn’t this be a great start in the right direction?

The key word here is "Listening" and "Feeling". If we all had that little bit of empathy it would mean a lot. I knew a woman once who got mad at you if you said you couold feel for her in her pain or misery because you can't really feel for someone if you have never experienced what they are feeling. She didn't understand empathy because she had none. Loved this one Caren. God Bless, JB

I understand what she was saying and agree completely with her in one way, and I also understand what you are saying and agree a hundred percent completely with you also. It is great standing here, at this crossroads, agreeing with everyone for I have travelled in so many different shoes. Every death is completely different, I have never experienced one exactly the same as another one. I think that might be what she meant.

Your poem "What if" is a call to action on the part of all of us. A candle may not light the darkness of the world but it would if everyone followed suit. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're enduring the pandemic with some measure of sanity. I'll be getting my first shot next Monday at our local Senior Center. / Maurice

I got my first shot yesterday after hours of pleading, begging, groveling, and being the biggest baby you ever met in your life. I finally went to my doctor. When she asked why are you here? I said "I really don't know, but my stress level is so high! We are going back to school on Monday and I need the shot." She had an"in" and I got my shot that quickly.

Thoughtful, I believe everybody has a different life and different challenges, but at least we would be more close to each other if we try to understand each other problems and worries. Love might not extend life, but it would surely make it better. Regards, Paghunda

I do think we need to open your hearts and our minds a bit more first.
