What If
What If I told you
‘You’re my favorite moment;
Precious, sometimes-fleeting
You make me smile, without speaking;’
What if I said
‘With every special way,
you just being you
Is a smile I could get used to.’
What if you knew
Going out to get lost
hanging in the hot spot after dark
does nothing to take you from my thoughts
What if I said
‘Whenever you’re around I can’t walk away
I’m just a little bit addicted
to everything you do, every word you say
What if I told you
‘You’re the best part of the day
precious, sometimes fleeting
You make me smile, without speaking.’
