What I See Now
I thought the day was gray, but my grandchild said it was green.
I listened to him explain it, and I changed my opinion.
Because he made sense, and now I did not see gray; I saw green.
The old man was evil, a grouch, almost grumpy beyond belief.
Until we got stuck in an elevator and I learned his story.
Now we are friends, and I see happiness when we meet.
