What I Always Wanted
What I Always Wanted
What I always wanted to do one day
Was being a nice poet in every way;
Not worry about poems I will write
I enjoy doing it with so much delight.
In poems, appear friendly as can be
Only exhibiting positive psychology
Whilst I always was feeling good
By everyone had been understood.
Peace would be in every place I went
And when one of my poems was sent
Will enjoy and appreciate every one
Say prayers to God when day is done.
Sun may be gone but God's still here
Even far away or quite close and near
And waiting to hear a prayer from you
When skies can be pretty Carolina blue.
Poetry month again has almost come
Instead of looking downcast and glum
Write one more poem for us to read
Provide peace and love for those in need.
Let this poem serve as example for many
Hunger for food and who don't have any
Into many minds have this poem painted
Someday in church poem may be Sainted.
