The warming smile of their faces As they rise each morning Secures my beliefs in love and In the knowledge that God Had given us children for the purpose Of learning love from them Their gentle way of saying, “Good morning, Daddy” Lights each day with a flame Of hope, light, truth and love Allowing the strength within me To be defined as a loving provider The wisdom of He Who allows us the gifts of miracles Is only surpassed by His generosity and love Bestowed upon us by children And the hope that they represent
