Congratulations! However, I don't agree with the quote by Robert Brault ... there are cold stoned mothers. Thank God, most are not, majority are true mothers showing, giving love to the their young. Putting that aside ... yours is such a lovely poem! Blessings.

mothers of animals and birds freaks me out dear poet. My queen had gone out to get mice for her 5 kitties, she didn't come back, was runover. That pain of kitties waiting for their mother, alert at every sound kills me to this day dear friend. I had that in my mind while writing this. Thank you so much for your kind visit and words.
