Wege, Die Sich Nicht Kreuzen / Two Roads Which Do Not Cross

---------------------------------------------- two roards which do not cross, like stars which will not find in the darkest cloudless sky. At road's frindge, whispering loneliness, as if randomly spread, stones out of dreams and past. Morning and evening disperse in daydreams like songs of larks, and between roads which do not cross, lost and lonesome, like stars in a dark sky.

There is something about this. So dreamy and sad at the same time. Very atmospheric, Gert! LUv,Andrea

Hi Gert, Wow! This one really gets me to thinking about those stars and what their purpose in this life is etc. Beautiful writing. I love it when a poem can make me sit and ponder...Smile. Thanks for sharing. Love Light Patty

This kind of reminded me of a song called Feuer und Wasser that deals with something similar but opposite (water and fire coming together even though their nature is opposite). The image is pretty much amazing due to the static of it and the way it is able to unroll into so many things without the need to appeal to movement. Thanks a lot for the experience =)

A beautiful, thoughtful write, Gert. I followed this path for many years but think I have finally come across my bright "star." Hope springs eternal; sometimes it takes years, even decades to end the loneliness. Love, Carolyn

I'm loving this Gert but I wonder if in Line #5 you are speaking of fringe (?) meaning the edge of the road? Its probably just a typo with a "d" instead of an "n". Thank you so much for also writing it out in German!! Very different for us here at the Soup and how lucky you are to have 2 languages!! Hope your fall days are wonderful!
