Weep Some More, Milady
Was that a lone tear making its way down her aging cheek
Had she let herself cry for those long decades
she'd pent it all up deep inside her
The dam burst forever, an ocean of tears
Why? Why now? How come?
Could it be she was secretly proud of
that number seared into her arm
For she'd had children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren
She'd won the battles, she'd won the war
Please weep some more milady
Weep until the whole world weeps with thee
