We Only Have Today
We may go through life seeking all kinds of things
But we truly don’t know what tomorrow will bring
Our lives could end in a heartbeat by unforeseen ways
--- So I cherish the moments that I have today ---
As I walked, looking at the sky, I could smell pine needles I walked by
As I walked aside the gurgling brook it spoke to me happy words, so fun
While I also felt the warmth beaming down on my face from the sun
So I try to cherish the moments I have, before they slip away
--- Because we only have today ---
