For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Disappointments come somedays
What can I do?... What can I say?
Discontent, with its shadow of doubt
Moves me to pray to my Savior, my friend,
Knowing that He will comfort, heal and prevent
Me from falling away from His light, His presence
The assurance that He is the Master and Deliverer
Disappointments happen, just a part of living
What can I expect? Perfection is just not accessible
The thing that is obtainable, the thing that exists
Is love from the One who makes me feel content
The One who erases the darkness with His inspiring
Light, graces my spirit with kindness and a promise
To always be by my side, uplifting, accepting
Securing my hopes and my dreams, my beliefs
Without any doubt, He is perfect and He destroys
Every worry, each fear – every sorrow, each tear
Disappointments are all a part of life
I can’t expect everything to be perfect
But I can allow Him to be my courage and guide
The answer to my prayers – comes with a light
Shimmering with help, healing, honesty and hope
Feelings that will forever prevent me from doubting
Discourage me from allowing pain to dampen
The serenity and faith, the wonder of His grace
As He leads me through the pain and stirs joy inside
Where I know He will always reside, restoring
Reassuring, reflecting all the peace that comes
From knowing He is with me, forever forgiving me
Disappointments darken my dreams, my ambitions
But, with Him, I always have the promise of wisdom
That comes from a light so alive it ignites elation
Destroys all the fear and wipes away every last tear
With a promise of love that is brighter than the Son
Love that comes from knowing the One who shines
Through the heart to the beauty of unending love
Love that is alive, like a fire inside, brought to my life
By the One who forgives with a promise of eternal worship!
Disappointments are simply a part of life… but I will survive
Because I know the One who never disappoints, never
Discourages and never disheartens… He is the way, the truth,
The life… the answer to the heart who needs a sacrifice
To find healing, hope and help through this life, where Jesus
Is the only chance we have to reach an afterlife,
Where His love abides, always alive, stirring our spirits
To sing and dance, to delight…. In the love that is His
Love that is gentle, kind and invites us to always give it..
