We Don'T Need No Stinking Contests

We don’t need no stinking contests, ones in which I can suppose of the form we’re asked to write in that the sponsor little knows. Sometimes sponsors give us rules. In the end, there is no doubt that they simply disregarded major rules they had spelled out. We don’t need no stinking contests - wherein every entrant’s fate is N/A while just one winner is an entry not so great. I do not expect perfection from the sponsors, for I know it’s not easy judging contests. Fairness many sponsors show. Thanks to sponsors who inspire us with a word or a phrase. Indeed, I’ve few complaints; there’s just one thing: no stinking contests do we need! Aug 16, 2018 for the 'Contests - We don't need no stinking contests' Contest of John Lawless

Yay Andrea....you made the list! I totally agree with you on sponsors hosting contests on forms they do not even understand, confusing us all. Congratulations on your win! : )

First verse, so true! Hard to be a judge and hard to not see our names in the winners list...harder still when you think did I enter that contest and yup, just plain lost... Congrats, Andrea!

I've only been around a little while and have noticed this as well (sometimes). In other contests, I feel sorry for the judge because there are SO MANY amazing entries. Good luck to you on this.

This is perfect Andrea. You have covered the subject nicely, followed the rules wonderfully and produced what should be a winning poem. :)
