We All Win!

I never wanted you anyway. When we met, I told you to call me when, You got a car and a job. I don't take care of dude: The first dude in my life, Didn't take care of me. I will never let any dude, Drag me down and reap, The benefits of my hard work, Unless you treat me like I'm worth. You did in the beginning weeks, You were very sweet, but then All of sudden your ,ex ,the Government assistance specialist, Starting calling daily with mess, And then I stop giving you my best, And you did the same. Now you are, Over there with her, and want me to, Help you. I never really wanted to help You in the beginning. God told me to. What do I want with you? A man with no job, no car, You were just protection from, My ex the astounding attorney, God took money from me to, Give me a dude with no, High school diploma, no where close To a GED, what will do with this, A lady who is a chemist, teacher, Poet, and many more gifts. I'm glad God gave the lift. I don't know if it, Is temporary or permanent. He 's got back His illiterate welfare recipient, I've got my life back, She got what she wanted. Yes , I ain't mad at all. We all win!

What a terrible experience this must have been for you, Nicole. I'm glad you came out on top, but the pain he caused you is unconscionable. God was there for you and you came out a winner! Love, Carolyn
