We All Look the Same
We All Look the Same
After we have suffered from so much hurt
God's Spirit surely may give us comfort
Which we will experience from day to day
Provided that we are all willing to pray.
Prayed morning, noon and into the night
God and His Spirit made everything right
And then when in times of deep despair
With us He started to share all of His care.
In our lives, God's light started to appear
That is when we felt Him close and near
God was the only one who had a wand
Who to at same time we would respond.
With all of God's power and our much praise
In our lives again there will be many days
Full of much spirit as well as His friendship
No longer out to sea will ship start to slip.
Steadfast and well-anchored you can be
Even if poor or a member of the nobility
Although God we may want to blame
In both His eyes we still look the same.
