Ways of Living Iii
words never seemed to work,
so s/he followed em’ up with
action &
action is as action does,
rumbling from the belly of
angst, thrusting with fists,
kicking with feet, knees up
into the torso & gripping steel,
setting fires, smashing things,
slicing, cutting, axing &
letting those who might of
stepped in the way,
deal with the conclusion set
by this individual---tantrums
& the seeing of red, taking
the violence out on all around,
as well as on thyself, all in
hopes of trying to cope with
what is really destroying them
on the inside---cold on the outside,
cold on the inside, dead inside &
lacking the ability to
emotionally heal.
