Small dewdrops on a blade of grass: A thing you might ignore, Something unnoticed as you pass. But if you are an ant whose mass is smaller by four times or more, it's something to explore! A liquid ball suspended there: It beckons you to play. You climb the blade with certain care Till you are high up in the air, Then poke that droplet right away. Catch the wave! Seize the day! Careening down your waterslide Along that channel thin, With knuckles white, eyes open wide, And straying not to either side, Splash at the bottom for the win! Find the next! Down again! ————— for the Dewdrops Poetry Contest sponsored by Angel L. Villanueva written on 06/16/2022 with a rhyme scheme of ABAABB CDCCDD EFEEFF and syllable counts of 868886 868886 868886 as per contest requirements

Wow, Jeff. The rules of this format left me cold. Well done on a microscopically brilliant entry. Good luck in the contest. Terry

Thanks, Terry. Yeah, that was a pretty specific rhyme/meter scheme.
