Notes About The Poem

Watching You Without Me

Once upon a time
You were here with me
We were two of us
We were side by side
Wished upon a star

I will ask God
To hold you tight,
Give you a kiss
for me, at night

Reflections
Your spirit
I can see,

you my
sister

Twin

Fictional or fact, the love and sincerity come clearly through. A touching poem from a sensitive poetess. Thanks for sharing my friend. Hugs, Bill

A fictional poem, encasing natural sentiments ! If we lose someone so close, following us everywhere like a shadow, we will be deeply saddened once taken away. What we can do is just pray.... ! All the Best in the contest, Anaya

Thank you, Valsa...My nieces are twins and are inseparable to this day. My uncle and aunti also twins! Many have lost a twin at birth, and it's a sad thing. Elvis being one!

From the title I surmise you lost your twin sister. Hope I got it wrong. I would love to see you happy.

Nicely mused. Caren will be a bit biased towards its premise. In other words: you already won.

Thank you, Chris, lol. If I make the list, I'm sure it'll be due to my writing.
