Watching the Australian Open

You can keep your Super Bowl Or golf shows on TV. Watching tennis is more wonderful, The perfect sport for me. In Australia, the games are played With quite a meager crowd. Still, at least a cheering audience, A small one, is allowed. The tournament’s too late at night For me to watch when live So my husband taped six hours, Into which I gladly dive. My friend just texted – watching The impeachment has her stressed. It’s much better to watch tennis, Where aggression is finessed.

Though its football first for me, I never get tire of watching tennis. Especially the major tournaments. If you've ever played, its amazing how good the players are compared to us hackers. I still root for the older guys (like Federer and Nadal).

In my book tennis is an acquired taste sport. Whacking a ball over a net on a court, seated and watching for hours in a hot sun, is not my idea of an afternoon of fun. Granted it's a great way for players to work up a sweat and melt calories, not so for spectators. / Maurice

I too love to watch elite tennis... Still miss the Borg-McEnroe and Evert Lloyd-Navratilova match-ups back in the day. ~ gw

I trust you noticed they were not wearing face masks because - once the centre of COVID-19 in Australia, their leaders valued public health over profit and instituted pandemic procedures which contained the virus! Aloha! Rico

Oh great you have it taped and can binge watch lol, I am sure it is far more exciting that watching trumpety with what he will see as 'trumped up' charges!!:-) hugs jan xx
