Hi there Arthur...sorry for the late reply, but I am busy going to protest rallies these days!!!! The desire of current day Zionists to expand the territory of Israel seems terribly selfish and misguided. The greed causes some terrible hurt and destruction. In the long run, the people pushing this are going to regret what they've done. They're living a shallow existence and will never experience a life of contentment.

I did not get a chance to watch it. I actually met Colbert at an air show in Farmingdale, NY. He had just been given a ride by the Blue Angels and was throwing up in the bathroom. I give him a lot of credit since members of his family died in a plane accident. We do know our president has a huge issue with his ego. Hard to know how or when this ends. Take care and thanks!!!

Anaya, most astute and kind of you to say this. It's sad that men can do so much damage to our precious globe. It makes no sense to me actually since it doesn't take all that much to have a fulfilling and happy life. Something is very wrong with our culture--one that promotes the idea that wealth and power are the end we should seek. At least we will maintain a sense of humor and never let the greedy take over our sense of worth as human beings leaving a small footprint here. Sending smiles!!

IE, you are most kind and it is a pleasure to see you here! Our president and other politicians need to find a sense of honor. In days of yore, those who served in government gave up a lot and only stayed for a much shorter time than today since they were citizens who were serving out of a sense of duty. It was a sacrifice unlike now where it is a job and opportunity to do the bidding for the rich. The rest of us are in trouble, but we'll see what happens. There's always room for hope! Arthur, I can't imagine who would make that mistake! Seems like the path to peace is out of reach for the time being. People with power need to learn some humility. Someone I know very well suggests we send them into the middle of the war zone in a poor place where people are starving for at least six months and let them experience it first hand (including the threat of death and starvation). Hi Arthur. There certainly could be depending on how you wish to look at it all. It seems strange that a bully and his followers have managed to take charge of the most powerful and richest nation that we currently have. I know from my own experience with bullies that help is not often found and we have to take care of it ourselves as a people. This is tough to bear for those of us who would like to see justice, equality, and an end to warfare as a means of settling differences. Sending smiles!!

Hi Silent One. Your analysis reflects truth indeed! He's into making money (for himself) at the expense of the health of the planet and most of us who live here. The polls show he has consistent support among members of his own party. Many of them are somewhat privileged and feel unaffected and insulated from his actions.
