I grew up not listening to the radio.  The first group I remember liking was Simon and Garfunkle.  I didn't really know who and what the Beatles were until my mid teens after they broke up.  One of the best shows I ever went to was Beatlemania on my 18th birthday in Hollywood.  If there is a CD playing in my car, it probably is playing something either from the Beatles, the Beach Boys; or occasionally from the Electric Light Orchestra or recently Foreigner.  If you're going to play it, you might as well play the very best!
Child of the Sixties,
I wish I'd seen the Beatles.
How could I have known?!

I've seen the Moody Blues, Bob Dylan and plenty of others. I've a keyboard in my room - if only I was better at playing it. You play piano? My nephews play in bands - Sirs and Madams and The Mad Doctors. How could you have known what? That Mr. Lennon would get murdered? Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

I play organ on Sundays. I injured my right hand skiing in the 80s; so switched to guitars. I do have a keyboard workstation though that I use for recording songs. How could I have known as a kid how significant they were to the future of music. I saw the Beach Boys in West Germany about 1989, the Moody Blues at KSU about 1993, and Rick Nelson just before he died in the early 80s. I don't get to many concerts; open mics are more my style.

Funny I am wearing a Beatles shirt right now, what are the odds! Wish I could go back in time!

It would be so cool to meet Paul or Ringo while they're still around. I think I would have found George the most interesting one though, alas.
