Was I Doomed

From our very first meeting was I doomed,
I listened intently to your soft voice.
The gift of pretty flowers were perfumed,
a loving card came now I can rejoice.
With this old friendship what should be our choice,
should we go on but is this hate or love.
Will we find the answer from up above,
like the pretty flowers you once did buy.
Will you be leaving like a flying dove,
what can I say should we just say good-by.

Your Dizain is perfectly crafted and reflects precisely the title you chose. Indeed we all have almost the same sensations when it comes to affection. I wish you good luck in the contest.
