Wanting You

even now the smell of your hair is as prominent as the whiskey on my breathe looming like the smoke from a midnight cigarette I've tried so hard to forget but as i attempt to drawn the memories the become even more vivid like the warm soft glow of your skin kissed by the moonlight your long brown hair swaying in the night breeze and your smile that shines so brightly it could pull me from the darkness stirring within me which now grows with every passing moment because of the cold harsh beautiful memories three months have passed and i still wake up and reach for you on that empty space in my bed but still after all my suffering and trying to mask the pain while I'm face to face with your friends its left me empty its left me wanting you
