Walking Away

You'd ask yourself whether this is real Are you ready to seal this deal? But you've walked away To pray... Confusingly, you didn't stay! Communicate! Is that not the way? And if we go our separate ways I wont regret that I brought you to my school on those days I won't regret I said I love you and it was real ... The love that we say we feel Perhaps it was love But it's truth may be questionable Perhaps the one above Will show us our love is inevitable But you've walked away! And left me alone Just to pray on your own... Where was your heart! When you find it, Use it to bring us together Not drive us apart (Based on an incident in Sea Point on an evening when the subject of the poem walked away)
