Wake Up January

Wake up January, You have work to do, And while your days may seem more than a few, If you leave it to February, with 3 less days than you, March will not be thanking either of you. April will not be much help when work is overdue, As it takes its usual Easter break with much ado, And chocolate overload turning it blue. May could help you, If those around the maypole are few, As for June and July paying their due, If being too hot or too cold keeps them from a start date due, And with one less day for the work to do, I don't see much hope for you. August is not very robust for the work it has to do, And September never seems to remember all the work it has to do. October struggles to stay sober long enough to give help to you, November is too busy decorating Christmas Trees for December to view, Which leaves December without a clue, What it needs to do. So, wake up January, Or you will never make a start on what last year left for you, And New Year resolutions now also due, That only you can make come true.

Thanks Evelyn. Over the years I have been in habit of saying to myself that I will wait to February before I get into gear and then I wake up and it is Easter. At least by the time Easter comes I am ready for another round of chocolate intake. Regards David
