Waiting
waiting
waiting for something
not anything
the clarity of vision
that sees things so sharply
it is acute
waiting for our eyesight to
clear up from the last journey
into blindness
waiting for the green light
of consciousness
that will say you’re
ok humans
average
medium oneness
and very often
overdone
but “aha”
here
waiting
waiting for the ultimate answer
to the ultimate question
that hangs in the heavens
like a tempting diamond star
we wait
even if it is for only
ourselves that we wait
we wait
sometimes not knowing the
why
and in our sleeping hearts
there is tomorrow where
faith is in
the waiting.
