Wait For Me
Wait for me, if I dont come
go to bed and suck your thumb
call my name,if I dont hear
wake the baby,bring her here
meet me at the cornerstone
of my life,Ill be alone
red carnations in your hair
thats the way I'll know your there
beat a drum on Clancy street
where your brothers used to meet
at the Deli I'll arrive
shortly after three or five
we'll have dinner on the train
bound for somewhere
free of pain.
