Visiting Aliens and Angels
Traveled from the underbelly of hell to Jupiter today
Proving Einstein’s theory of time in the most important way
The angels were cheering me on from their crystal ball
Who knew they were omnipotent and knew how to forestall?
My slumber was lively. My REM sleep flickering my eyes.
I can sleep upside down on a space ship; no big surprise.
I traveled from one star to another, finding a new galaxy.
If you were not a doubter, next time you could go with me.
But alas, you are no wanderer, believer, or holiday saint.
You do not read books, write poetry, dance, sing or paint.
You are firmly stuck on this planet, while I go twirling around
Visiting aliens and angels, kicking away from all common ground.
Seriously, time is different than this world ever has seen.
I don’t want to be arrogant, all-knowing, prissy or mean
But if you knew what I did you could travel the skies for infinity.
There are so many places to be, and I have traveled to plenty.
