Virtual Tuck-In

Appearing in pajamas Right before they go to sleep, My grandkids’ faces fill the screen And oh, the joy I’ll reap! While one gives a detailed run-down Of what she has done that day, Her big brother wants me watching On his tablet while at play. Technology allows me Access to their night routines As I track them in their bedrooms On our separate iPhone screens. There’s a very tiny window When they’ll want to thus connect But for now these FaceTime tuck-ins Have a tickled-pink effect.

The only advantage of technology is, it connects you to your loved ones.

Thank God for technology Ilene, having facetime and phones certainly took the edge off not seeing family not in your household during the restrictions. Tom
