Beautifully composed. If you deleted a line it wouldn't have been fascinating. I need to read more about Ecphrasis. In regard to my choka poems...sorry; I cannot minimize any line; papers stretch, no compromise. May I suggest that you alter the rules in which you can say "between 10 to 20 lines?" Thank you.

I like the clean lines with the bold splashes of color. This lovely vignette perfectly describes this piece, Brian. I'd love to see his last studio he designed in New York. Thank you for your insights on my poem this morning. Love, Robin

I love the idea of art poems. I am delighted that you are having this contest. I replaced an earlier one about the same painting because of the line length. I had written this one at the same time... I love the Mondrain poem... I put the reference in. Thank you for the reminder. Art you a painter as well as a poet?

Yet another new form to me, holding great rhyme within, where do you find the time? lol. A very vivid poem, painting the picture of the artist with strength and precision as ever!
