Victor's March

The sun has now climbed to the Eastern hills Charioted in scintillating glory like a mighty king Shattering the mist with his lance like beams He exults like a victorious warrior His crystal rays rouse the sleeping birds And they begin their dulcet chorus without cords

As a former Hindu, I loved looking east toward India, & greeting Surya Devata. Also doing Surya namaskar. Science proves our closes STAR IS A KING. Others stars are mightier, but too far to do us ( and dark space) much good. Pithy poem, as prayer

Yes, Surya Namaskar is one of the most effective yoga practices. Sun being closer to us is like a King, brilliant in glory ! Thanks for your evaluation of the poem. It is something amazing that from being a Hindu you have become so well versed in the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Stay Blessed...

I suppose it is a pity I never see a sunrise. I am always late in waking up. Hugs.

Don't you know the dictum - 'Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise'..... So be an early bird :) Thanks a lot !
