Vices ''I Love''

I have a few vices for sure that I really love,
      For example, I do adore a chocolate bar daily;
And well, of course there is coffee, a steaming cup,
          Oh, then there are the cats, oh I love the cats.

The bar has to be dark and velvety chocolate,
       And the coffee has to be with cream and sugar;
Well, the cats I must always have one or two of them,
            And did I mention the shopping which is my hobby.

Oh yes, I do have a thing about shopping often,
      It has nothing to do with necessity but desire;
I do love to shop for girly things and I have a system,
            Because I like a bargain, I frequent second hand.

But, I think my biggest vice if you want to know,
      Is poetry soup, oh yes, hours, hours I do spend;
Writing, viewing, commenting, and just happily dwelling,
            My vices are not so bad, I don't smoke or do the drugs.

                  Oh did I mention the television watching that I love . . .

Duke Beaufort November 12, 2015 at 12:36 PM This is a refuge and not a bad place. The funny thing about chocolate is that dark is better, I think. But only up to a point. I don't know if I mentioned that I tried eating 100% cacao (baking chocolate) just to see what it is like. Not a pleasant epicurean experience. Your vices are not bad at all. You are really quite a decent soul--no a marvelous one.
