Vegetarian Vampire

Apologies to everyone I have mislead about being new to poetry. I have just remembered I got a *certificate of excellence for this poem and attended an awards ceremony** (aka *merit certificate **assembly at primary school) back in 1988. I don't mean to give you a fright Please don't be scared of coming out at night I don't bite, no not me I only eat vegetables for my tea I may look scary but that is it I won't hurt you, not a bit

I don't know, my mum always said if you don't eat your greens, the meat eaters will get you.

The meat eaters get all those who eat their greens - their teeth aren't as sharp so they are easier prey.

Standing, Applauding. Throwing roses at the feet of the poet. Camera flashes going from every direction. The poetic words resound as the clapping diminishes to a low rumble. ............ and you forgot to tell us ????.........
