Vanish Into Thin Air
A rabbit in a magic hat
The moons silvery sliver, slides behind the veil of dotted light, as the man on it, hides his face from our sight
Flowers from their stems
Leaves , which once were green and full of life, become dry, and fall off as they wither.
Snakes as they slither underground, under water, or up a tree.
Money, if you’re not cautious, nothing is ever free.
Children, who grow, and leave home
Musicians on the road, as they roam
Buildings made of brick and steel eventually will fall under the builders zeal
A star, once bright and strong, whose fuel, is now long gone, will collapse and fall in upon itself
The spiders web of lacy silk
A plate of cookies and a glass of milk
Food, once prepared and shared
CHOCOLATE, IF IM AWARE OF IT SITTING THERE !
Love, once you’ve fallen out
Grey skies, once the rain has gone
Hero’s, who, once were strong
Democracy, if we wait too long
A ring, a jewel, a television show
Our perception of these things is short lived, compared to the storied histories they’ve lived
The sun, below the horizon line, once the day is done
Soon you find a new one has just begun
A breath, once held, is soon expelled
A bird from its nest, a smile from a face.....
Nothing ever really vanishes, it just changes shape, transforms, and then moves on to another state
Energy is never lost
It just lies in wait......until, such time, as it is acted upon.
