Valley

She cries and hugs the coffin Why he leave her alone He walks out the door But never came back home They give her a medal And said he was a hero But that can’t replace him Next to her is an empty pillow And why doesn’t the men goes The one’s who likes to start wars They are all safe behind The white house doors Now in her heart There’s a valley fill with pain And all the medals in the world Can’t heal it again He sees a moving truck Across the street by 224 He ran as fast as he can Was shock at what he saw? The girl he loves are leaving Going back to El Salvador They turn down her parent’s visa They can’t stay in America no more They hug each other tight Like they were made of glue He said soon as I’m eighteen I will come and marry you And in his life there’s A valley fills with emptiness Filling every day With the love for a girl he miss He came out the shower See a text on his phone He hurt his right leg She ask how he is making out alone And he feels so happy That she’s thinking of him He thought in her heart His light has gone dim And on the streets of Cardiff The breeze gently blows It’s where my heart’s planted And every day the seed of love grows Now in his heart there’s A valley full with love And it will keep overflowing till for the green eyes girl he’s dreaming of
