My Dear, you left last Valentine Day,
when we accepted each other by heart.
You promised me to be back next day.
I was sure you could not delay.
Every moment I was alert.

You should come soon, I must say.
I know, you cannot hit or hurt.

With my heart you cannot play.
You can neither pretend nor flirt.

I am waiting to ruminate past.

Days are passing, yet I must trust.
