To Ernestine My wife

In spite of the past few years,
that life has put us through.
Just wanted you to know my dear,
I still think the world of you.
Those encountered speed bumps,
and storms we’ve had to weather.
Our vows weren’t taken lightly,
and we’ve still remained together.
So a solemn promise I make to you,
I’ll be here for you until one’s end.
We can’t see what the future holds,
but to your needs I will attend.
