Valentine bemoaning to Cupid
what are we to do? Not an arrow
of yours launched this year has
found a political-heart that's true – 
blame it on the masks, you say, 
because Joe's went to Bill – and 
now Hillary is complaining, blaming
her loss on Jill. Oh what sorrows
we inadvertently send, when missing 
noble marks; freedom's trusted
guard-dogs, exposed as pretentious 
barks – next year, more gold in
their own socks, while the
people they serve get, the same 
empty promises, weighted down
with rocks –

These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize and prosper a scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when considering as preventive intervention for public health.
