Vagabond Dreams

When I was young I had dreams,  dreams to go here and there. I like wandering around in life,  you never know what you will find.   Somehow life got in my way, school~work~married and kids.  By some I was called shiftless,   what a fancy name for me.  I still kept my dreams,    dreams I would not share.  Dreams that kept me alive,  through all my many years.  I wanted to sail the high seas,  guess a pirate was for me.    I could see the castle needing my help,  let's rescue the lady tramp. Now the years have come and gone,  my dreams are still alive for one more turn.                                                                        Date Written:8/27/2021
