Vacation's End

Get a map and plot a course; Do what fits with no remorse. Let the locals be your guide But if it's not for you, don't bide. See museums, check out stores; Walk until your feet have sores. Stop off for a bite or drink - It'll perk you up, I think. Buy some trinkets for your kin; Treat yourself - it's not a sin 'Cause when vacation's at its end, Reality's around the bend.

Good advice here, Ilene. I love walking in a city I've never been to before, so much to see. And if one thing I must do when in a foreign city it's taste the food! Forget American fast-food trash. I want to taste authentic cuisine. / M

Oh I just love this one ilene, yes time does fly when you are having fun, we have just booked for our yearly holiday, but no shopping except for food, but we are going to a small town and staying in a bush chalet and just relax and get rid of the cobwebs, by the way yes it is me in that photo on Pete's poem with my grandson, hope you are well, take care.....Vera
