Used To Bring Me Flowers
You used to bring me flowers and we'd dance out in the rain
My heart is still the same heart but it's hurting once again
You used to say you loved me and held me close at night
But now I'm left in pieces all we ever do is fight
Take my hand again and hold me relieve me of this pain
Give my heart the passion like you used to once again
Tell me that you love me and that everything's okay
Show me one good reason to make me want to stay
Love was ours for the taking we really had it all
But it's gone like it was never here at all
Where did it go to all the loving we once shared
You used to bring me flowers to show how much you cared
The sun and stars were ours once we danced beneath them all
But somewhere in the in the mists of time we let our loving fall
Now my heart is aching longing to feel love again
Bring me back my flowers and let's dance on through the rain
Instead you sit in silence and ignore the words I say
I don't think I can take much more of living life this way
My needs may not mean anything to you but they are there
I really can't go on like this I need someone who cares
Love was ours for the taking we really had it all
But it's gone like it was never here at all
Where did it go to all the loving we once shared
You used to bring me flowers to show how much you cared
Each passing day it's growing this feeling love has flown
I try to make a difference but I feel so alone
You shut me out completely and it's like I'm not here
Ignore my touch and hurt me you don't see my tears
I guess this is the end then I can't go on in this pain
You used to bring me flowers and we'd dance out in the rain
Yes this is the end now, we can't do this again
You never bring me flowers we can't dance in the rain
Love was ours for the taking we really had it all
But it's gone like it was never here at all
Where did it go to all the loving we once shared
You used to bring me flowers to show how much you cared
