Quote by _Stephen King ________________ Books, I love and seek them out in dusty places, cookbooks, art, poetry and dictionaries of all kind; in nooks and piles of books scattered and in tidy cases, sketchbooks cobweb covered are such a great find ! Many appeal to me- while I go deeper wandering, plenty are gathering in my "like" pile to purchase today; any, I would love and so I am pondering and pondering, twenty or so is a good number wouldn't you say ! Old pages once loved- yellowed, tattered I will save, mould can be repaired so in my pile I keep placing; gold leaf covers, I will keep you from a book grave, thresholds of discovery - oh, why am I still pacing ! I would say this is a good start. "twenty or so is a good number wouldn't you say" When I was a child we could only check out 7 books a day. I read them each day and took them back for 7 new ones every summer day from age 8 on.

this is just awesome and i hope to see it in the winner circle. When i was young, very much younger, i was a real book addict. But VCR kind of turned me away from all my wonderful books. i just watch so many movies now. i only really read a novel when i am traveling , which means hardly ever! (or staying at my mom's where she has no good satellite tv. haha) you are a wonder with your descriptions on your well loved books.

You must love reading as much as I do, Constance! I love the way you describe the yellowing pages of your favorite books. I have read some at least three times. Carolyn, thank you for the compliment and the comment, when I was a young girl I loved meandering the library, picking up a book reading a bit and then moving on, I am still like that, I can spend the whole day wandering the library or a dusty used book shop, I am not that fond of new bookshops, they have no character and the books are overpriced _Constance
