5:30 a.m. I step outside glancing at the horizon. Bursts of gold on lavender melt into a saffron sky. It's the time of day when the sky looks like it has been spray-painted by a graffiti artist.

another day is breaking
bring sunrise upon waking
rise to greet the morning light
more memories are in the making
