Unwritten

Quote By My Dad  "A quitter never wins and a winner never quits." 

My dad did not teach me much,
the few things he did have been priceless.
He never would let me give up,
no matter how hard it was for me.
Being young at the time,
I did not know he was teaching me character.
How many people stop,
just before they would have won.
How many songs~books~plays have been unwritten,
by quitters.
If Thomas Edison had given up,
would we be without electricity
A writer writes because it is in their blood,
never leave a page unwritten.
