I try not to bother them if they don’t bother me ... they feed off my hummingbird feeder in the summer sometimes. Enjoyed :)

I have to be honest Caren, I don't like wasps! I was stung whilst helping my friend clean up after a house warming party and the wasp was lying in the tea towel I picked up to dry the dishes with - I have never experienced such pain in my life - so now when I see a wasp I shoo-shoo him out of the nearest window or away from where we are sitting if having a braai outside (barbecue).

Very keen insight expressed, Caren. Wasps and bees aren't afraid of humans. The hornet represents the Angel of God. This avenging spirit chases the wicked away. Smartly written poem. Love and joy always.

please not where we sit! We had a huge basketball size wasp nest on our house last summer. Awful! great senryu, always one of my fave forms x:-)-luloo

I have had a swarm of wasps sting me when I accidentally disturbed their nest. It is pretty sad
