Untogether
moving as a river meanders
our broken romance
knowing old eddies
touching the banks
feeling out familiar shapes
curves to find comfort
through the endless night
left over love unbidden
wind chimes through
hollow throats
sweet morsels
leather bound darkness
stifled sighs
unanswered
and so we turn away.
