Untitled 5

Tearing at the shroud, of an empty page Staring at the lines that have faded with age Reflecting on the dream, so real, so true Could it be, somehow I've always known you Thoughts breed silence to my waking mind Open my eyes, yet still remain blind A thousand times, I've tried to see What once was lost, may be in front of me Yet still I wander aimlessly And wonder what's in store for me Lost among my own desire Afraid to feel the yearning fire Smile at me in the dawns dim light Take my hand, devour the fight Breathe me into your weary soul Warm my heart for it grows so cold
