Unsure
The taste of yesterdays kisses
They still linger on my lips
But our love keeps on slipping
Falling through our, fingertips
Your painted smile doesn’t sit right
It’s missing your subtle charms
That distant look’s not for me
To wrap you up, in my arms
Is it really over? ..... I can’t tell
‘Cos it doesn’t feel the same anymore
You had me so completely under your spell
Was it all an illusion, maybe confusion, oh was our love always unsure
Was our love always ... unsure
Tell me why I’m so unsure, you don’t seem the same to me ... anymore
Oh, your eyes are hiding secrets
As you dream you’re somewhere else
Your body speaks in volumes
There’s ice in your heart, I can’t melt
Is it really over? ..... I can’t tell
‘Cos it doesn’t feel the same anymore
You had me so completely under your spell
Was it all an illusion, maybe confusion, oh was our love always unsure
Was our love always ... unsure
Tell me why I’m so unsure, you don’t seem the same to me ... anymore
But still I’m standing tall and I'm still yours
At least ‘til the candle burns down and melts
I’ll be right here ‘til you walk out the door
Here for you ‘till you find somebody else
Is it really over? ..... I can’t tell
‘Cos it doesn’t feel the same anymore
You had me so completely under your spell
Was it all an illusion, maybe confusion, oh was our love always unsure
Was our love always ... unsure
Tell me why I’m so unsure, you don’t seem the same to me ... anymore
