Unseen Chains
We all have a brain
That’s in our head
So many of us know
What need to be said?
But one voice gets lost
So its not notice
And the corruption around
Continue to be practice
And its only when we
Put our heads together
We can bring about change
Strong as the weather
There are unseen chains
On our hands and feet
Like the people of Palestine
Face a blockade in every street
We see the down fall
Of our basic human rights
With bomb’s falling from the sky
Killing children in the nights
We see the constructions
Of illegal settlements every day
Inch by inch confiscating
Their land every day
The millions of refuge in Africa
Just waiting for nothing
Their only hope they have
Is to keep on praying
So many young victims
Of all the endless wars
Have of the world
Living under martial laws
In America so many homeless
Many never had aback up plan
Still the government sends cash
To build homes in occupied land
How long can we stand this?
But they don’t care what is said
Every day grieving families
Just have to bury their dead
Every government hands has blood
They give orders to shoot the gun
Then use god’s name in vain
hoping to enter god,s kingdom
They know they can’t fool us
We don’t believe the lies we are fed
We maybe in unseen chains
But we are free in our heads
